Your Ultimate Guide for Spending Halloween at the Cinemas

It's halloween! Yayy!

I went to the movies at lot this month, and consequently watched most of the halloween/horror films out right now, so, instead of making a bunch of post reviewing the movies individually, I thought it would be a good idea to just do one big post with mini reviews and if you should or not go see it this weekend! Note this is not all movies out in October, only the halloween themed ones. So, let's get on with it!

My biggest problem with it is that is not scary whilst it was obviously marketed as a horror film. Don't go in there expecting to see a scary film because that's not what you're gonna get. This is a gothic romance, and it's a good one actually, it's just not scary. This movie also has a lot of foreshadowing and I knew within 20 minutes of the movie what the 'big reveal' at the end would be. This film has amazing visuals and great acting. Perhaps, if they'd markets it correctly it wouldn't have been such a disappointment for me.
Favourite line: "we stay together; never apart"
Conclusion: If you have nothing scarier to see, go for it.

I walked into this movie with zero expectation, the trailers did not make me too interested in this, and the only reason I even bought a ticket - besides being bored - was that Dylan Minette was in it, not like I'm a super fan but I think this boy is going somewhere and I even said he would be great spiderman before they casted Tom Holland. Now, talking about the movie, I have to say I had a great time. I laughed a couple times, but overall it was just a great family-film that anyone can enjoy.
Favourite line: "I remember being five and being pushed on a swing and thinking 'that's it, this is when my life ends'" (I loved this so much I even tweeted about it lol)
Conclusion: Get a big popcorn and be ready to have fun!

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension

Why? Why did this franchise had to get ruined? Why didn't they stop after 3? Whyyyy? You may not know this but I'm a big Paranormal Activity fan, my 13-year-old self almost had a mental breakdown when I watched the first film in a movie theater back in 2009. Many people dislike the second one, but since I live in a house full of security cameras I was quite scared. And the third one, honestly the best one of this entire series, had me sleepless for a week, might have something to do with the fact that I am terrified of bloody mary, and that's also what made me excited about seeing this new one after the mess that was number 4. Even though this movie claims to have all the answers it just doesn't, plus all the scares are in the trailer. But on to the good  parts, yes there were a couple, this has good acting as usual and - believe me or not - humour, I caught myself laughing on most of the jokes they throw on this during the film.
Favourite line: "I'm gonna scare IT?"
Conclusion: NOT WORTH IT. This is not worth your money or time. AT ALL.

If none of this films make you want to go to the movies and all you want is a night in, check out my 5 films to watch on Halloween post I did last year. Also, if you're in LA like me, and isn't going to the West Hollywood Halloween party/parede thing, you can go to the El Capitan Theater and watch the 4-D version of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'.

I hope you like this post, and it helps you in deciding what to see this year. Don't forget to comment and let me know what you did/watched for Halloween this year, also if you have any recommendations please share them.

Now, no matter what you decide to do have fun and a great Halloween lovelies.
